Optics and LED modules, IES and LDT files, DIALux calculations, checking lighting requirements.
Software for the laboratory and the engineering office
I also develop bespoke software: tools that support the test laboratory and applications for the engineering office, like the ones I use to cost bills of materials and manage supplier RFQs. We start from the task that takes the most time today and turn it into a tool that is simple to use.
Ways of working
Three formats, depending on the length and continuity of the work.
Hourly
You pay only for the time actually spent. Suited to reviews, checks, changes to existing products or ad hoc support for your engineering team.
Per project
A fixed fee on an agreed specification, with defined stages and deliverables. Suited to developing a new luminaire or a product family.
Annual contract
An ongoing agreement with a block of hours reserved for your company and priority response. Suited to companies that need a steady external designer without hiring.
